Minimum requirements:

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, aircraft engineering trade/vocational qualification, or relevant degree such as B.Eng./BSc.
  • Valid B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License accepted by ICAO/RCAA/EASA, or acceptable for conversion/validation by RCAA.
  • Required RwandAir main-fleet aircraft type rating and company authorization.
  • At least 5 years of B2 avionics maintenance experience.
  • At least 1 year of aircraft certifying experience.
  • Level 3 training on an aircraft type operated or to be operated by RwandAir.
  • Must qualify for authorization under RwandAir Maintenance Organization requirements.

Main responsibilities: Aircraft maintenance and defect rectification, issuing Certificates of Release to Service, troubleshooting avionics systems, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring technical and safety compliance, maintaining documentation, and supporting aircraft operations.
