Essential Functions: 

  • Support in all commercial discussions with suppliers that collaborate with MBUSI
  • General support in  activities related to purchasing department, including future sourcing projects and cross functional meeting coordination
  • Verify data accuracy from suppliers for the processing of claims; Provide appropiate feedback to suppliers
  • Analyze supplier claims and help plausibilize costs (under general supervision)
  • Organize and support team meetings and communications 
  • Lead responsibility from purchasing department for managing  waste reduction project; Work cross functionally across MBUSI to implement and scale process

Other Regular Daily Tasks:

  • Preparation of reports and presentations for management
  • Participate in various negotiations with suppliers
  • Support in other purchasing tasks

Qualifications

  • Create tracking systems for AGV monitoring - try to improve the Visual Management System of the Autotated Guided Vehicle(AGV's).Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education: 

  • Student in: Finance/Controlling, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote)                                
  • PowerBi                                
  • Project management experience
  • Preferred knowledge of AM Supply
  • Cost Engineering
  • Team work and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master’s degree
  • Studies outside of the U.S.A  (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
  • A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months
