Molecular Biology Technician at Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Developement Board (RAB): (Deadline Aug 6, 2026)

- Conduct routine molecular laboratory procedures with minimum supervision - Perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, electrophoresis, another related technique. - Prepare reagents, media buffers, and laboratory consumable according to developed protocols. - Provide technical support to researchers and other laboratory personnel - Assist with the development and optimization of new laboratory protocol - Operate and maintain molecular biology equipments and ensure proper functioning - Maintain laboratory records, sample tracking systems, and databases. - Ensure adherence to SOPs, biosafety, and quality assurance - Data analysis and preparation of technical reports - Ensure effective and efficient management of resources and assets under responsibilities. - Support laboratory inventory management - Ensure timely planning, requisition and procurement of Lab materials/ consumables and equipment - Undertake any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor
