5. DATA ANALYST
Reports to: IT Operations Manager
Department: ICT
Age Limit: 35
Being a Rwandan by Nationality;
Having a Bachelor degree in computer science (or) Information Technology (or) Electrical (or) related field
Having in-depth knowledge of experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle;
Having in-depth knowledge of Power BI
Experience: at least 3+ years’ experience as Data analyst or DBA
Skills& knowledge
Proficient in SQL, relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, and Excel
Familiarity with .NET, scripting languages (Python, R), and data visualization tools
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
Collect, clean, and transform raw data from various sources into usable formats.
Develop, maintain, and enhance scheduled and ad-hoc reports using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Collaborate with departments to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
Conduct trend analysis and interpret results to provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
Validate report outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources.
Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation of reports for reference and audits.
Monitor data quality and work with relevant teams to resolve anomalies and inconsistencies.
Extract and format data for regulatory and audit reporting.
Collaborate with developers and business units to support data needs and troubleshoot issues.
Generate reports and queries from the database as needed.
