CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND FOREIGN CANDIDATES WISHING TO STUDY AT RWANDA POLYTECHNIC

ACADEMIC YEAR 2026–2027

Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) would like to inform all prospective students who wish to study in year one in its colleges as Government Sponsored and Self / Private-Sponsored in the Academic Year 2026–2027, that the online application will start from 23rd September to 03rd October 2026 through the link below:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Have Senior 6 / Level 5 Certificate/results slip, or its equivalence provided by National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) for international candidates.
  2. Have a copy of National ID or a valid passport for international applicants.
  3. Have a valid email and password.
  4. Payment of a non-refundable application fee of 5,000 RWF.

Note:

  • The selection and admission of applicants will be based on available places and academic performance. Candidates who completed secondary education before 2024 must have two principal passes in principal subjects relevant to the program.
  • Names on certificate/results slip, or equivalence must match the Rwandan national identification (ID) or passport for foreign applicants.
  • All RP programs are offered on a full-time basis.
  • Selected applicants will be admitted to the programs of their choices at any of the RP colleges.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to the applicant’s email address upon successful submission. If no confirmation email is received, the application has not been completed successfully and must be re-submitted.
  • The steps for application, programs and admission requirements are detailed in the attached annexes.
