Design, install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults and implement appropriate solutions. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment. Monitor the performance, efficiency, and reliability of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Install and commission new machinery, equipment, motors, pumps, compressors, generators, and related systems. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical specifications. Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they occur. Carry out equipment alignment, lubrication, adjustment, and component replacement. Supervise contractors and technicians during installation, maintenance, and repair activities., commissioning, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and equipment. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, investigates equipment failures, supervis Develop and maintain preventive-maintenance schedules and procedures. Investigate equipment breakdowns and recommend corrective and long-term solutions. Ensure machinery and engineering systems comply with safety and operational standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment performance. Assist with procurement and technical evaluation of machinery, tools, spare parts, and engineering equipment. Recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, or replacement to improve efficiency and reliability. Manage engineering projects from planning through installation, testing, and commissioning. Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements. Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Practical experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment maintenance. Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical motors, pumps, compressors, bearings, drives, and control systems. Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Ability to use engineering tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Good project-management and technical-reporting skills. Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
