About the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme is designed for individuals who aspire to become future leaders and contribute to social, economic and public development in their countries and internationally.

Successful scholars will pursue a full-time eligible postgraduate programme at the University of Oxford while participating in the Leadership Programme.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship covers:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be applying for a new, full-time graduate course at the University of Oxford.

  • Be a national of an eligible country and ordinarily resident in an eligible country.

  • Intend to return to their country of ordinary residence after completing their studies.

  • Demonstrate a clear connection between their chosen course and long-term career goals.

  • Explain how their education and professional experience can contribute to improving public life in their home country or internationally.

  • Meet the academic and admission requirements of their chosen Oxford graduate programme.

How to Apply

Applicants should follow these steps:

  1. Choose an eligible full-time postgraduate course at the University of Oxford.

  2. Complete the Oxford graduate application form before the relevant course deadline.

  3. Select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme in the scholarship section.

  4. Complete the required Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement.

  5. Submit the completed statement together with the graduate application before the deadline.

Only applicants who receive an offer for an eligible Oxford course and meet the scholarship requirements will be considered.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to an online interview, expected in April 2027.
