Job responsibilities

 Maintain and provide technical support for existing NIDA systems;  Provide technical support for existing NIDA databases and modify existing databases as circumstances change;  Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, managing and Troubleshooting Software/Applications/Databases;  Perform routine Audits of Databases and Applications;  Responsible for regular backups and implementation of data redundancy across multiple database systems;  Ensure that the Databases and Applications are up and running;  Ensure data synchronization across multiple sites and databases;  Implement comprehensive maintenance procedures for the database system and repair the damaged databases;  Implement database security policies including access authorization and authentication;  Provide daily support to systems users;  Train systems users and set up their accounts;  Recommend the supervisor on database management systems upgrades required;  Generate regular reports related to ID production and civil registration;  Provide daily support to stakeholders;  Train stakeholders and set up their accounts;  Define and model data requirements business rules and operational requirements for online services;  Collaborate on information gathering, documentation and process flow for new services to be added on different platforms;  Prepare and perform use case tests prior to service deployment on different platforms;  Follow up with the implementation of NIDA services on different platforms;  Investigate and collaborate with government platform; on change required after services are deployed on different platforms;  Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports on activities and status of databases and application;  Advise supervisor accordingly.
