The Partners Enhancing Resilience through African Centres of Excellence (PERI-ACE) Scholarship is part of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, an initiative that promotes collaboration among African Higher Education Institutions and supports academic mobility across the continent.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be nationals and residents of an African country.
Master’s & Doctoral Mobility
Applicants may qualify if they:
Target Groups
Target Group 1: Applicants currently registered in, admitted to, or holding a degree from a core African institution within the PERI-ACE consortium.
Target Group 2: Applicants from another eligible African Higher Education Institution that is not part of the PERI-ACE consortium.
Traineeship Mobility
Traineeship applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme at an eligible African Higher Education Institution participating in the Intra-Africa consortium.
Are Rwandans Eligible?
Yes. Rwandan applicants can apply if they meet the eligibility requirements and satisfy the requirements of their chosen university and mobility programme.
How to Apply
Step 1: Read the official Application Guidelines carefully.
Step 2: Choose your preferred university and programme.
Step 3: Apply separately for university admission.
The PERI-ACE scholarship application does not replace the university admission application.
Step 4: Complete the online scholarship application form.
The application takes approximately 30–45 minutes to complete.
Step 5: Carefully review all information before submitting your application.
Incomplete applications may be disqualified.
