International Health DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027 | Deadline: 15 October 2026
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is offering scholarships for eligible candidates from low- and middle-income countries to pursue a Master of Science in International Health (MScIH) under the DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027 programme.

Study Locations: Germany, Norway and Mexico
The programme is hosted by Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in Germany. Students complete the Core Course and Advanced Modules in Berlin, with up to 10 ECTS available at partner universities in Heidelberg, Germany, or Bergen, Norway. The final four months are spent in Cuernavaca, Mexico, where students complete their Master’s thesis.

Scholarship Benefits
Successful scholarship recipients may receive:

€992 per month for Master’s students

Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance

Travel allowance, unless covered by the applicant’s home country or another funding source

Monthly rent subsidy under certain circumstances
-
Monthly allowance for accompanying family members under certain circumstances.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
-
Come from a low- or middle-income country
-
Have completed an academic degree equivalent to 240 ECTS / four years
-
Have achieved far above-average academic results, within the upper third
-
Have at least two years of relevant professional experience after obtaining their Bachelor’s degree
-
Have a most recent academic degree that is less than six years old at the time of application.

Curriculum Vitae using the Europass format

Letter of Motivation, maximum two pages

Letter of recommendation from the current or previous employer

Certificates of Employment proving at least two years of relevant work experience

Proof of English language proficiency, such as IELTS or TOEFL

University degree diplomas and official academic transcripts

Passport copy.
Applicants should follow the required document naming and submission guidelines carefully. Incomplete applications or applications that do not use the correct labels cannot be considered.
