Scholarship Benefits

Each selected Coca-Cola Scholar will receive a $20,000 college scholarship to support undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be currently enrolled in high school or be homeschooled.

• Attend an eligible school in one of the 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico or an eligible Department of Defense school.

• Graduate from high school during the 2026–2027 academic year.

• Plan to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.

• Have a minimum overall 3.0/B GPA in high school coursework.

• Meet the programme's U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration-status requirements.

Can International Students Apply?

No.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is not available to international students studying outside the United States.

Therefore, students studying in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya or other countries outside the eligible U.S. school system are not eligible for this scholarship.

What Does the Scholarship Look For?

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation uses an achievement-based selection process.

Applicants are evaluated primarily on:

Strong academic performance and commitment to education.

End of October 2026 — Semifinalists notified

November 2026 — Semifinalist application stage

Late January/Early February 2027 — Regional Finalist interviews

April 2027 — Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend

2027 — 150 Coca-Cola Scholars selected

Application Process

Phase 1: Initial Application

Applicants complete the online application between 3 August and 30 September 2026.

At this stage, applicants do not need to submit:

• Essays

• Transcripts

• Recommendation letters

Phase 2: Semifinalists

Approximately 1% of applicants are selected as Semifinalists.

Semifinalists are then required to complete a second application, including:

• Essays

• Academic transcript

• Recommendation

Phase 3: Regional Finalists

Approximately 250 students are selected as Regional Finalists and participate in interviews with Coca-Cola Scholars alumni and staff.

Phase 4: Coca-Cola Scholars

Following the final selection process, 150 students become Coca-Cola Scholars and receive the $20,000 scholarship.

 How to Prepare a Strong Application

Because the scholarship is highly competitive, applicants should demonstrate clear evidence of achievement.

Show leadership: Explain what you led, the challenges you addressed and the results you achieved.

Highlight community impact: Give specific examples of how your activities benefited other people.

Demonstrate academic excellence: Maintain a strong academic record and highlight significant academic achievements.

Be specific: Use concrete examples and measurable results rather than general statements.
