The African Union is inviting applications from qualified citizens of AU Member States for 50 Internship Positions under its 2026 Internship Program.
This internship offers young Africans the opportunity to gain professional experience, strengthen their skills, and work in a multicultural environment within one of Africa’s leading institutions.

• Education & Innovation
• Health & Social Development
• Infrastructure & Energy
• Political Affairs & Peace Security
• Human Resources
• Finance & Administration
• Information & Communication
• Legal Affairs
• Gender & Youth
• NEPAD and many more.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Final-year Bachelor’s students OR graduates with Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
• Citizen of an African Union Member State
• Fluent in at least one AU working language (English, French, Arabic, or Portuguese)
• Age not above 32 years
• Good moral conduct and integrity

• Motivation letter
• Updated CV
• Academic certificates
• Passport or National ID
• Recommendation letter from institution
• Other supporting documents
Internship Duration:
3 months (renewable once)
Important Note:
The internship is unpaid. Interns are responsible for travel, accommodation, insurance, and living expenses.
