About The Internship Program
The internship Program was adopted in 2009 with the aim of equipping interns with practical skills that are required to facilitate the transition from school to the labour market. More specifically, the program aims at re-inforcing the Rwandan graduates’ practical capacity by linking theoretical skills to the practice. It also sought to provide Rwandan graduates with opportunities to gain valuable experience that increase their chances for employment.
Interns are placed in public, private and civil society institutions related to their area of study for a period of 6 months. However, given the nature of fields like agriculture and others that are technical in nature and require more time of practice, the duration of internship programme in such cases can be extended for up to twelve (12) months.
