Job responsibilities
– Conduct water quality analysis, including pH, ammonia, dissolved oxygen, and nitrate levels. – Perform microbiological and parasitological tests to diagnose fish diseases. – Analyze fish samples to assess health status and nutritional deficiencies. – Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment for accurate results. – Document test results and prepare reports for hatchery and farm management. – Assist in the development of fish health management protocols. – Ensure compliance with biosecurity and laboratory safety regulations. – Provide technical support to hatchery and farm staff regarding fish health. – Conduct research on disease prevention, nutrition, and water treatment techniques.
