Job Title: Cargo Equipment Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for cargo handling and warehouse operations.

• Transport cargo, pallets, containers and other equipment between aircraft and warehouses.

• Support aircraft loading and offloading operations safely and efficiently.

• Operate forklifts and other cargo-handling equipment to load and unload trucks and containers.

• Inspect equipment before use and report any defects or malfunctions.

• Ensure proper cargo storage, segregation and movement in accordance with operational procedures.

• Maintain accurate cargo movement records and documentation.

• Comply with airport safety, security and airside driving regulations.

• Handle dangerous goods and time- and temperature-sensitive cargo in accordance with applicable procedures.

• Report safety hazards, security threats, incidents and operational irregularities.

Qualifications

• Advanced Level (A-Level) certificate.

• Valid driving licence, Class B and F.

Required Skills

• Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operation.

• Cargo handling and loading techniques.

• Airside safety and regulatory compliance.

• Knowledge of dangerous goods handling.

• Effective communication and ramp coordination.
