Job responsibilities
- Monitor budget utilization against approved annual work plans and budgets. - Prepare monthly and quarterly budget execution reports. - Track expenditure trends and identify implementation gaps. - Support budget performance review meetings and follow-up actions. - Provide financial data and analysis to support management decision-making. - Review financial and narrative reports submitted by National Sports Federations. - Verify completeness of accountability documents and supporting evidence. - Follow up on outstanding reports and accountability issues. - Provide guidance on reporting requirements and compliance standards. - Prepare compliance status reports and recommendations for management action. - Reconcile revenue records with receipts, bank deposits, and financial reports. - Maintain accurate records of revenues generated from sports infrastructures, Prepare periodic revenue performance and analysis reports. - Support implementation of revenue management and accountability procedures. - Follow up on discrepancies identified in revenue records and reporting.
Qualifications

ÂBachelor's Degree in Accounting with an Accounting Professional Certificate
3 Years of relevant experience

ÂBachelor's Degree in Finance with an Auditing related course Certificate
3 Years of relevant experience

ÂBachelor's Degree in Business with specialization in Finance
3 Years of relevant experience

ÂBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance with CPA/CPFA/CPFM intermediate level /ACCA Foundation Level (Completion of ACCA Applied Skills papers) with three (3) years of relevant working experience

Required certificates

ÂPart II for professional qualification ACCA OR CPA

ÂHaving CPA or CPA Intermediate level, CIA/CPFA/CPFM or ACCA Part1

ÂAccounting Professional Qualification recognized by IFAC,(ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage

ÂLevel I of a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIA, CFE
