Academic Background & Age Requirements
Bachelor’s Program

High school graduate or equivalent.

Under 25 years old.
Master’s Program

Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent.

Under 35 years old.
Doctoral Program

Master’s degree holder or equivalent.

Under 40 years old.
Undergraduate Foundation Program

High school graduate or equivalent.

Must have a pre-admission notice.

Language & Academic Requirements
For Chinese-taught programs:

Foundation & visiting programs: minimum HSK Level 3
-
Degree programs: minimum HSK Level 4
For foreign language-taught programs, applicants must meet the specific language requirements stated in the relevant program catalogue or faculty admission notice.
Minimum Academic Performance:

Average score of at least 80/100, or
-
GPA of 3.0 or above.
Current students must have an average score of at least 80 in the previous academic year.

Completed Beijing Government Scholarship Application Form.

Highest academic degree certificate.

Academic transcripts.

Language proficiency certificate such as HSK, IELTS or TOEFL, depending on the program.

Selection Process
BFSU will select qualified scholarship recipients through document review and academic assessment.
The final scholarship recipients and scholarship categories will be published on the official website of the BFSU International Student Office for a public notice period of five working days.
