About the Scholarship

EARTH University, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, offers scholarships to young leaders from disadvantaged communities in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The program provides access to undergraduate education and supports students through leadership development, mentorship, career counselling, and internships.

Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be residents of a Sub-Saharan African country and graduating high school students.

• Demonstrate significant financial need.

• Have strong academic results.

• Demonstrate leadership and extracurricular involvement.

• Show a commitment to returning to Africa and contributing to socioeconomic development.

• Have completed, or be completing, the required secondary school qualifications.

• Meet the applicable English language requirements.

Required Documents

1. Completed online application form.

2. Three recommendation letters from non-family members.

3. High school transcripts covering the last three completed years.

4. High school diploma or certificate of completion.

5. Supporting certificates, awards, language qualifications, and other relevant documents, where applicable.
