ECU Africa International Scholarship 2027 – Deadline: 31 December 2027

Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Australia is offering the 2027 Africa International Scholarship to eligible international students from selected African countries who plan to begin an eligible undergraduate or Master by Coursework program at ECU in 2027.

The scholarship provides a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the standard duration of the eligible course.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an international student and not an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen.

  • Be a citizen of an eligible African country or region.

  • Commence an eligible CRICOS-registered undergraduate or Master by Coursework program at ECU in 2027.

  • Be enrolled in an ECU-approved packaged pathway course with a registered pathway partner leading to an eligible ECU degree in 2027, where applicable.

  • Meet ECU's admission requirements for the selected course.

  • Be a full fee-paying, non-sponsored student.

  • Not receive a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.

  • Not hold another ECU scholarship unless otherwise approved by ECU.

Application Process

Eligible applicants are automatically assessed for the ECU Africa International Scholarship when they apply for an eligible course at ECU.

No separate scholarship application is required.

Successful applicants will receive scholarship information in their Letter of Offer.

Important Note

The scholarship covers 20% of tuition fees for the standard duration of the eligible course. It does not automatically cover living expenses, accommodation, travel, visa costs, or other personal expenses.

Applicants should also confirm that their African country is included in ECU's current list of eligible countries before applying.
