The Higher Education Council (HEC) has announced bilateral cooperation scholarships between the Government of Rwanda and the People’s Republic of China for the academic year 2026/2027.

The scholarships are offered through Inner Mongolia Medical University and are available for Bachelor’s Degree studies in Medicine.

Required Application Documents

Interested candidates are required to submit the following documents:

  • Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC
  • Copy of National ID
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Copy of High School Diploma, Results Slip, or equivalent qualification

Academic Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Must have studied MCB, PCB, BCG, or ANP
  2. Must have obtained a minimum overall score of 85%
  3. Must have obtained at least 85% in Biology and Chemistry
  4. Must have obtained at least 70% in either Mathematics or Physics
  5. Must not currently be enrolled in a local or foreign university
