Please note that these scholarships do not cover:
- English language testing fees
- Bridging or English preparation programs

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand
- Meet Victoria University's admission requirements for a research degree
For RTP Stipend Scholarships, applicants must additionally:
- Achieve an average grade equivalent to H1 (above 85%)
- Meet English language proficiency requirements
- Apply for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program
- Submit a research proposal or research focus outline
- Enroll as a full-time student
Priority may be given to applicants who have not previously completed a PhD or received similar postgraduate research scholarships.
Selection Process
The scholarship competition is highly competitive. Applicants typically require an academic score equivalent to 80–85 on the Victoria University grading scale to be considered for a PhD stipend scholarship.
Successful candidates are usually notified within two months after the application deadline.
