About the Scholarship

The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project 2026–2027 offers international students and researchers an opportunity to pursue higher education or research at participating Russian universities. The competition is organized by the Association of Global Universities with support from Russia’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s: Applicants who have completed secondary education or will complete it in the competition year.

• Master’s: Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, or those completing it in the competition year.

• PhD/Doctoral: Applicants with a Master’s degree or specialist qualification, or those completing the required qualification in the competition year.

• Postdoctoral: Applicants who already hold a PhD or an equivalent qualifying research degree.
